About / Philosophy
Kurt’s Free Games exists because mobile games have become exhausting. Too many games now come loaded with long startup delays, ad interruptions, popups, energy systems, coins, subscriptions, and in-app purchases — sometimes even charging for “No Ads” only for a limited time. When you only have a few minutes to relax with a puzzle or quick game, the last thing you want is to fight through loading screens, registration prompts, update checks, or another sales pitch.
This project started after I got tired of ads interrupting a Sudoku app I otherwise enjoyed. Kurt’s Free Games is my answer to that experience: simple games that are actually free, without ads, purchases, tracking, or data collection. I do not want your data. I am not selling anything, and I am not sending information to data brokers. I do not want people spying on me, and I do not want to spy on anyone else. These are just games — open them, play them, and enjoy them.

Recent Changes
- 2026-08-06: Updated the ball colors in Ball Sort to make colors in later levels more distinct. Updated the Letter Link game to improve diagonal selection and add tap/double tap to create words.
