Privacy Policy

Kurt's Free Games is built on a simple rule: your data is none of my business.

This policy explains, in plain language, what Kurt's Free Games does and does not do with your information. The short version is that it doesn't collect any. Last updated: September 12, 2026.

No accounts or sign-up No analytics or tracking No ads or ad networks No data sold or shared No data leaves your device

Information We Collect

Kurt's Free Games does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. There are no accounts to create, no sign-in, and no forms asking for your name, email address, or location. The games do not use analytics, crash reporting, advertising SDKs, or any third-party tracking libraries. Nothing about how you play is measured, profiled, or sent anywhere.

Game progress, settings, and high scores are saved only on your own device using standard local storage, the same way a note-taking app remembers your last note. That information never leaves your device, is never uploaded to a server, and is not accessible to me or to anyone else.

Third-Party Services

The app itself embeds no third-party services. The only external links are optional buttons you can choose to tap, such as links to Patreon or Discord. If you follow one of those links, you leave Kurt's Free Games entirely and become subject to that service's own privacy policy — I don't control and am not responsible for what those sites do.

If you downloaded the app through Google Play, Google may collect standard installation and diagnostic information as part of operating the Play Store itself. That collection is governed by Google's own privacy policy, not this one, and is outside of what Kurt's Free Games controls or receives.

Permissions

Kurt's Free Games does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, location, photos, or any other sensitive device permission. It only needs the ability to save small amounts of game data locally on your device so your progress and preferences persist between sessions.

Children's Privacy

Because Kurt's Free Games collects no personal information from anyone, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 or any other age. The games are suitable for general audiences and can be played by anyone without creating any risk to personal data, since none is ever gathered in the first place.

Data Security

Since no personal data is collected or transmitted by the app, there is no server, database, or account system that could be breached. Any game data saved locally is protected by your device's own operating system and storage protections, the same as any other app on your phone or computer.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future feature required different handling of data — the update would be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date. Given the philosophy behind this project, any such change would only ever make the policy more restrictive on data collection, never less.

Contact

Kurt's Free Games is a solo, independent project. If you have questions about this privacy policy, you can reach out through Discord or Patreon.
